Intex Aqua 5.0: 5-inch Dual-Core Android 4.0 Phablet Retailing at Rs. 9990 released

Powered by a dual-core processor and Android 4.0, Aqua 5.0 joins the league of entry-level phablets in India, with specs that are more or less the same as its competitors - it's packed with 4 GB of internal memory and an additional 4 GB via microSD card slot (expandable upto 32GB). The Aqua sports dual-cameras, a 5MP auto focus rear camera and a 1.3MP front camera for video calls.

The Aqua 5.0 supports dual-SIMs and has a WVGA resolution display, with a 2000mAh battery that the company claims can provide talk time of five hours and about eight days of standby time. Available in three colors, Intex is targeting Tier 2 and 3 cities in India with a sub 10k retail price, and bundling a backpack worth Rs. 700 along with assortment of preloaded apps which may or may not not be removable.
